BC Ling Cod is line caught in Haida Gwaii by independent fishermen. This Ocean Wise fish is a very popular west-coast fish, but seems a bit elusive here in land locked Ontario. Ling Cod is not a true cod! This greenling is firm, tender and moist with great texture and a big flake. It has a stronger taste than most white ocean fish, maybe more akin to lobster.
