BC Rockfish
BC Rockfish
minimum weight
Often called Pacific Snapper. there are over 70 varieties of Rockfish off the coast of BC.
Hugely popular because of its mild and slightly sweet flavour with a bit of nuttiness. Rockfish has a lower oil content, a nice texture, and a clean finish. The fish will easily take on the flavors of the ingredients it is cooked with or can stand on its own.
Super versatile, BC Rockfish can be simply baked, sauteed, pan-fried, or used in soups or chowders. You could also deep-fry or is a good choice for fish tacos, as well as several Asian recipes that call for a white fish. *not a good grilling choice
