Albacore Tuna, Loin

Albacore Tuna from British Columbia is clean tasting, and very healthy - a great choice for olive oil poaching or raw in salads.

These fish are individually frozen on board as they are caught to ensure the best flavour and quality.

In the past, there were health and safety concerns over mercury which does bioaccumulate in all species of tuna, however B.C. Albacore is caught young—two to three years of age—long before there’s significant accumulation, and it consistently tests among the lowest in the world.
