The Selva Shrimp® program offers a sustainable seafood choice and, by using an integrated quality assurance system, guarantees the highest product quality, freshness and food safety.

Selva shrimp are raised wild in the mangroves of Southern Vietnam. The shrimp grow in their natural wild habitat without feed, pesticides, chemicals, hormones, antibiotics. Once the shrimp have reached maturity, they naturally migrate to the open ocean. It is at this point that the ranchers, or stewards, harvest them by net during high and low tides, when adult shrimp are naturally drawn towards the sea.

Selva Shrimp® are caught by net and immediately put on ice to preserve freshness and their natural taste. In the early morning, harvested shrimp are gathered through collecting stations and brought to the processing plant where shrimp are manufactured into frozen final products.
The farmers and processors are paid a fair price for the shrimp, the company has a mangrove reforestation program in place, along with strict regulations, providing a great alternative to the current shrimp industry.
